Bro. Rod Hartnell sadly lost his sight about three years ago. Since then he and his family have received invaluable support from the charity Blind Veterans UK. Connaught Lodge readily agreed a £200 donation to the charity in appreciation for the work that they do.
On 3 May Rod simulated a cheque presentation to his Community Support Worker, Sarah Macdonald, using a pretend cheque; the real one being posted to the charity’s local office.
